In an ideal world, I recommend 3-4 months to prepare for frontend interviews. That’s enough time to cover everything and actually retain it.
But real life doesn’t always cooperate. Sometimes a recruiter reaches out and the onsite is a month away. Here’s exactly how I’d spend four weeks if that happened to me, assuming about two hours on weekdays and four hours on weekend days.

Before you start: two things
1. Find out what your loop actually includes. Ask your recruiter which rounds you’ll have. If there’s no system design round, that time goes to coding. If the coding round uses general algorithms instead of JavaScript-specific questions, add algorithm practice. Read how the frontend interview process works if you’re not sure what to ask.
2. Do a quick diagnostic. Spend the first evening solving one question from each category under time pressure: a JS utility, a small UI component, and a 20-minute system design sketch. Whatever goes worst gets extra time.
